4. Higgins birthday bash in his pool. Damn, that $10 swim up bar we bought worked out great! And Spare-Rib’s cliff diving into the pool was fantastic!
3. Mr Jackson’s recap of previous bids….yes, I think I’m the only one that didn’t see the pussy eating lesson….How I missed it, I have no clue.
2. Oily and Hemmerhoid’s hash wedding/circle on Wednesday….definitely a great send-off to the plane. Thanks for the t-shirt!

OK fine....I'm sick of the rain and the heat, so I've signed up for boot camp (starts next week) and yoga. I've done yoga 3 times this week....the first one was OK....good to stretch out, felt a little sore, but happy.
Yesterday, went again...yoga instructor not feeling well, so we just laid on the ground and stretched a little. Needless to say, disappointed. However, ran into an old hasher, Comes Fomr Behind, who hasn't hashed in about 5 years...nice to see him.
But today's yoga was KICKASS. This guy made us twist and shout every which way and it was like aerobics....vishnu this way, tandoori that, (hell, I can't remember what he called it) but he had us twisted like pretzels. And it was hard. And we were sweating. Very much a surprise. And ow, my every muscles hurt.
I'll get back to you all next week with boot camp...after I get my leg out from behind my ear.

We've been enjoying way too much rain in Austin, but it's finally slowed down..now it just feels like Houston..joy.
Getting ready for a few trips....my birthday at Sanibel Island with TAF's sis and bro/family, then a weekend with the girls in Port Aransas...
Then, come the end of August, it will be Gonad Hash in Austin to kick off the IAH in Puerta Vallarta...lots of special guests here in Austin before we leave.
Should be good......

Got the word that Pete Townshend is the keynote for SXSW this year-oh yeah! Hopefully I can add him to the list of 'rock stars that get to hang with SMB'. For those of you too young or stupid to know who he is, he's the guy in The Who that wrote a lot of the songs....you know, the band that does the theme songs to all those CSI shows.
On another note, Spec's has opened the first of 3 stores here in Austin.

9. More Pad Thai than you can eat in your life for 20 Baht at 3am….and it’s awesome!

7. The Hash Bar in Chiang Mai. I’ve never seen a place so crowded that I could always get a beer in an instant and a clean toilet. Oh wait-that was the pub next door!

So I survived Interhash...it was awesome.
Chon Som is charging way too much for Pad Thai. 20 baht gets you all you can possibly eat!

Trails were good, the crowd (5000+ hashers) was great. Got to see friends from all the way back in 1992 from my first interhash. Party went on until 4am every night.

Not one person asked me where Brownie or Fish were. ;-)

BATT was there though. She bought a whole table of Tiger beers...yeah!

Damn, it's been so long since I posted I friggin forgot how.
Pretty pisspoor turnout to the hash today. ...looking forward to World Interhash and hashing with folks from around the world. It will be good to see Higgins and the like in Phuket for many days on the beach....great trails in Chiang Mai and lots of old friends.
Hash elections upon our return and maybe some other people will do some work in the Austin Hash.
Can't wait to see who the new Grand Bitch will be!

The Ride Like a Girl thing was great fun.....about 6-8 per group with a leader to take you around...I plan to do it again if it fits my schedule. Saw a few work-mates there as well....they even had beer at the end!

This weekend is the ASS Hunt (Austin Sailing Society)...never been to it before, but it should be lots of fun. We'll spend the night on the sailboat as well...which we don't do nearly enough. Hope I can learn how to launch biscuits effectively at the other boats!

Then next week, it's off to Denver for a quick conference....don't know how I'll fit in any hashing since I have a show back in Austin Sunday-Wednesday. Bummer.

Yesterday's hash was pretty good.....NOT! 1.2 miles into a tunnel....FALSE! Followed by a shredding of my legs (bull nettle) on the way out....ahh, just like the good ol days.
Going to hook up with an old hasher, Candi Panties, for a 'Ride Like a Girl' mountain bike at Walnut Creek....ow, my legs still hurt from yesterday.

OK, so today wasn't the greatest. I've been driving for what seemed like 2 days and I was almost done and some wanker rear-ends me on MOPAC. Joy. Had Helmut the BMWer for 6 years and no nicks....guess the warning from the trooper last week in Fayette county should have been a clue....
Well, at least it wasn't my fault.

But TP and the new Niall came over for dinner along with the Body and Yasuko, so the evening wasn't a total wash....
